Graduated in "Photography as a research tool in the social sciences" from Universidade Cândido Mendes, Rio de Janeiro. Previously, I was part of the "Núcleo de Estudos da Fotografia", Curitiba- BR (1999) - BR (2003). Analog photographer with documentary works, first an investigation on Umbanda (Curitiba 2001) and still in Curitiba entitled "Curitiba, a capital social?" (2002). Later in Rio de Janeiro I carried out a photographic study on Afro-Brazilian-Indigenous religious cultures which can be seen at FotoRio 2003 with the exhibition "Tempo de Luz".
Also a portrait photographer, with extensive material produced in Africa and Latin America. This material can be seen at the exhibition "Hemisfério Sul", Casa das Artes do Porto 2019 and at the Embaixada do Porto 2025.
