I am Helena García, born in France in 1976.
As a descendant of a Spanish father and a Portuguese mother, both immigrants, I spent my childhood in the lands of Contrexéville, Segovia and Valongo; in 1986 I moved to Portugal.
I have a degree in Management Consulting and I work as an administrative office secretary in a small company.
I love photography and nature (landscapes and nature are my favorite subjects). In this world of photography, I am a self-taught amateur. I have enjoyed taking pictures since I was a child to capture moments. I try to photograph various subjects, but nowadays it is in nature, between walks, immensity and solitude, that I dedicate myself most to photography.
I attended, back in the analogue era, the Basic Photography Course developed by the Portuguese Institute of Photography (IPF, Porto). I participated in a group exhibition by Júlio Aires.
